Questions about the tiers
What does the free trial include?
A shared managed line, a sandbox with a simulated phone, the complete API, event stream and signed webhooks, and community support. No payment details are required. It is meant for building and evaluating, not for production traffic.
What is a line?
A phone number your application sends and receives on, together with the Apple account and host behind it, which Mapier operates. On the free trial the line is shared with other customers; on full service your lines are dedicated to you. Every live line is provisioned by our operations team after you request it, so it is not instant.
Can I use my own phone number?
Not today. Lines are numbers that Mapier provisions and operates on your behalf. If you need a specific number, tell us before you build and we will say what is possible.
Can I send marketing blasts?
No, on either tier. Cold outbound, purchased lists, promotional campaigns and one-way notification blasts are outside what Mapier is for, and we will pause a line that is used for them. STOP and UNSUBSCRIBE replies are honoured automatically: a send to a contact who has opted out is refused.
How do I move from the trial to full service?
Book a demo. We look at your use case together, size the lines you need and agree terms; our team then provisions dedicated lines for your project. Nothing you built against the trial changes — the API, keys and webhooks are the same.
